Located in the heart of Haryana, Sonipat, JGU was established in 2009 and has been recognised as an Institute of Eminence by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is currently home to over 8700 students, 900 + faculty members, and a large community of administrative staff. While there are hundreds of photos of the campus available online, which can be checked easily by students at the comfort of their homes, we believe that a Campus Tour is one of the most exciting parts of the application process and give prospective students an actual sense of the Life at JGU.
The JGU Campus is LIVE 24*7 and is the main attraction for students as they have to spend the majority of college life staying on campus – attending classes, hanging out in the flagpole area, and grabbing their food from the university mess. Make Campus Tour part of your plan
As you start preparing for your college life, it is very important to physically visit the campus once so that you get a good feeling about the place. JGU being a fully-residential college becomes a second home for most students and a campus visit will ensure that all your concerns about the place are taken care of.
Choose a time for the Tour
Schedule your tour carefully, try to keep it during your free time so that you can give attention to the visit. Your admissions counsellor can help you plan your visit according to your plan.
Decide the type of tour
While the campus is open from Monday to Friday for visitors from 11 AM to 4 PM, it’s very important to schedule your visit. At JGU we provide two types of tours: individual which you can schedule on any working day and then there are School or JGU level tours which generally involve a large pool of people. While an individual tour can be focused, a group tour will help you get diverse perspectives. Choice is Yours!
Do your research and list down your questions
Be prepared about what will happen in the visit. Ask questions that can’t be answered by Google!
Make a list of questions and feel free to ask your counsellor/guide about everything.
