Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has signed a MoU with Quinnipiac University, United States to establish ties of friendship and cooperation for the purpose of promoting academic, cultural and personnel exchange.
The MoU was signed between Dean, JGBS, Dr. Tapan Panda and President, Quinnipiac University, John L. Lahey. This academic understanding between two global Universities will allow exchange of teaching and research personnel and students, as well as books, research and reference materials.
Founding Vice Chancellor, Professor(Dr.) C Raj Kumar speaking on the occasion said, “Academic and research collaborations are instrumental in building a quality global business degree program. Students’ need for diverse and global perspectives in the workforce is essential. In today’s competitive environment it is imperative to provide an academic environment which encourages collaborations in learning, fostering a culture which aims at expanding the learning horizons through global exposure. The academic understanding between Jindal Global Business School and Quinnipiac University will allow students to experience the best of both worlds”.
Dean, JGBS, Dr. Tapan Panda said, “Our relationship with University of Quinnipiac, USA is going to open new vistas for Jindal Global Business School Students and faculty members. By this MOU now our students can do their MS program in US as well as participate in the exchange program. We are moving towards creating a global platform for JGBS student mobility so that a student has a chance to do his courses and learn across continents. The relationship will also bring in opportunities for faculty members to do world class research and publish in the highly rated journal. This relationship is opening up opportunities in allied domains like public policy and corporate governance, sustainability and research in the area of technology and its impact on future living. JGBS will be able to contribute significantly to both academic and industrial world through this relationship with University of Quinnipiac”
President Quinnipiac University John L. Lahey said, “We are delighted to be signing this MoU, joining the Jindal University and Quinnipiac University for academic collaboration. We hope with this the two countries will cooperate on educational issues and mutual interests and the two Universities will cooperate as well.”
O.P. Jindal Global University currently has 200 developed international collaborations with over one hundred fifty-five universities and institutions in fifty countries across the world.
