JSPC emphasizes the importance of experimental research for all undergraduate students. To that end, the university has a research laboratory, as well as research centres run by JSPC faculty. The goal is to provide—for interested students—opportunities to gain experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.
The Psychology Research Laboratory provides a modern workspace for all faculty and students of Psychology at JGU. A variety of psychophysiological and behavioural equipment, including EEG and eye-tracking hardware, permits a direct examination of the brain and behaviour. The laboratory has space for student instruction—providing ample opportunity for students to gain first-hand training and understanding in experimental design and analysis.
