BIOGRAPHY
Sonali Negi Das is a strategic communications leader with over two decades of experience across India and Africa, specializing in public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. As Adjunct Faculty at O.P. Jindal Global University, she teaches corporate communication and public relations, helping students bridge academic theory with real-world industry practice.
Sonali has held senior leadership positions at global PR firms such as Weber Shandwick and Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where she led client experience, external communications, and crisis preparedness for leading brands across sectors including technology, aviation, energy, and healthcare. Her work has consistently focused on highly regulated industries, offering strategic counsel grounded in media insight and stakeholder alignment.
She also led internal communications at Siemens India, where she was recognized for her contributions to compliance communications and transparency initiatives. A published poet, Sonali is currently authoring a book series that guides startups on navigating PR, crisis communication, and storytelling. She is also a certified corporate trainer, having earned a Dale Carnegie certification in Training Excellence, and has trained C-suite leaders, managers, and individual contributors.
Sonali holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Delhi, and a certification in Digital Marketing from MICA. She brings to the classroom a rare blend of global experience, creative insight, and a deep passion for mentoring the next generation of communicators.
