Biography

A seasoned communicator with over 25 years of experience, Sayantani is constantly striving to marry her experience with bot-age & keeping pace with algorithms! Inducted into PR during the days when press-releases were hand-delivered, she is a veteran in shaping perceptions & managing reputation. She has strategized on high-decibel, 360' PR campaigns for top brands across technology, consumer, lifestyle & retail, F&B, hospitality to financial services clients. She has been actively involved with all aspects of communications function ranging from strategy planning, stakeholder relations, influencer management, advocacy, outreach, crisis to internal, CSR & employee communication. Exposure to glocal clients across genres has provided her with an in-depth understanding of reputation management & various facets that contribute to it. 

From being part of Hyundai’s first ever Santro launch in India to working behind McDonald’s counter to gain an understanding of the business first hand (on behalf of her client) to managing high profile global CEOs & intelligentsia's visit, she has a rich body of work in communications & public relations. As she puts it “exhilarating journey so far, lots more to accomplish”. Currently based out of Gurgaon with a decade+ stint in Bengaluru as the South zone head for technology PR firm, Archetype, she has consulted clients across geographies & cultures.

Sayantani also conducts workshops on communications & undertakes training for top-management including crisis, media & social media, internal communications. message development & related modules to her core area of expertise, communication & reputation management. She has also moderated industry panels on behalf of her clients. She is a voracious reader & occassional social commentator on X @Sayroy.

She has served as the South Chairperson for PRCAI (Public Relations Consultants Association of India) as well as been a Sabre jury member from India.
