Diksha Sharma is a filmmaker, editor, and curator trained at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, with nearly two decades of experience spanning documentary practice, film education, and international co-production forums.
She currently serves as Artistic Director of the Documentary Resource Initiative, shaping the artistic and pedagogical direction of DocedgeKolkata, Let's Doc Fellowship, and Edit Camp, having previously held the roles of Head of Programming and Head of Industry and Exchange at DocedgeKolkata. Her editing credits include the National Award-winning Boxing Ladies and the feature Music in a Village Named 1PB, nominated for the Critics' Choice Awards 2026, Official Selection at Ji.hlava IDFF, IDSFFK Kerela and DIFF (Dharamshala) feature documentary Phir Se Samm Pe Aana, world premiered at MAMI. She has represented DocedgeKolkata as a panelist at international forums including Docs By the Sea, Bali, and the West Lake International Documentary Festival, China, and has conducted workshops at institutions such as IIT Bombay's IDC and Green Hub, Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai.
