B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence and Finance

The modern financial sector is undergoing a paradigm shift driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), digitization, and large-scale data analytics. Conventional undergraduate business degrees often overlook these critical technical aspects, while standard Computer Science curricula rarely provide grounding in capital markets and financial systems. The B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Finance bridges this gap by creating a meaningful intersection between Finance and Artificial Intelligence. The program is distinguished by its blend of academic rigor and immersive application, featuring specialized lab access, and a one of its kind 12-month industry co-op internship component that directly connects analytical theory to corporate practice.

This program is designed for ambitious learners who aspire to lead in the evolving digital economy. Delivered through an innovative blended model, the three-year curriculum includes 36 industry credits. Its distinctive operational structure seamlessly integrates self-paced online terms (August–November), intensive residential campus immersions (December–January and June–July), and 4-month full-time, faculty-supervised corporate co-op internships (February–May). Graduates are prepared for analytical and technology-enabled roles across finance, fintech, financial services, automation, and related business functions, as well as for further study in finance, analytics, AI, and allied fields. 

On completing the program, graduates will be able to:

• Analyse economic, financial and business information and use quantitative and statistical methods to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Apply financial software, analytical programming, and data-visualisation tools to analyse market data and automate accounting processes
• Evaluate financial markets, investment portfolios and risk using appropriate financial, quantitative and data-driven approaches.
• Assess the use of AI and digital technologies considering cybersecurity, privacy, law, ethics, sustainability and societal impact.
• Execute professional business workflows, demonstrate accountability, communicate financial and business analyses and recommendations, and adapt to diverse workplace environments.
