Surabhi Bhandari holds an LLB (Hons.) degree from Cardiff University, a Russel Group university in Wales, United Kingdom and a Master of Arts (LPC with Business) from BPP University, London. In 2022, she completed her LLM degree in General Legal Studies from Jindal Global Law School and graduated as a gold medalist and the recipient of the prestigious Nani Palkhivala Award for all-round performance. Her masters dissertation concentrated on the evolution and analysis of the mental health legislation in India.

Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, Surabhi worked with organisations like the Land Conflict Watch, in the capacity of a project coordinator and WWF-India, in the capacity of a junior legal researcher. In 2018, Surabhi joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in New Delhi and worked in their intellectual property laws practice. She has worked on multiple advisory, transactional and contentious matters relating to copyright laws, trade mark laws and patent laws.

Surabhi has been teaching since May 2020 as a visiting faculty member with a private law school in India. Her research interests lie in the area of mental health laws and intellectual property laws. Outside the law, Surabhi is building her startup on mental health wellness as a step towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 3, towards 2030.
