Shubhangi completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NMIMS KPM School of Law, Mumbai, with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Law in 2018.

After completion of her Bachelor’s, she worked as a Junior Associate at V. A. Associates (Mumbai) for a year before deciding to pursue her Master’s in law degree. She has completed her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. Her research and academic interests lie in Copyright law, Trademark law and the Creative Industries from the perspectives of IPR. She has a published blog post as well as research paper on IP related subjects. Her current research interest lies in ‘Colour Trademarks and it’s Apparent Acceptance in Our Legal System’.

Besides being involved in the legal industry, she is an avid reader and heavily interested in linguistics, predominantly Asian languages. She is currently learning Japanese and is preparing for her N3 level language proficiency exam.
