Shivangi pursued her LL.M. in 2021 with concentrations in International, Foreign and Comparative Law as well as in Immigration and Refugee Law from Pennsylvania State University as a Penn State Law Academic Scholar. She completed her Integrated Bachelors in Law (B.A.LLB) from Amity Law School Delhi, IP University in 2020. While pursuing her LL.M. she worked extensively as a Research Assistant at Penn State Law on the research of International Energy Transition Regulations in India, Bhutan and Japan. Her primary research interests are areas of International Law, Human, civil and political rights of refugees and development of refugee laws in India. Her publications have been focused majorly on various aspects of human rights law in India such as sexual harassment at workplace, acid attacks, custodial torture and poverty and development and models ensuring food security in India.
