Saksham graduated with distinction, and among top 5% of his batch, from Amity Law School, Noida. He was awarded with a certificate for “Performance in Academic Committees, Excellence in Internships & Workshops” for his outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements. Subsequent to the completion of his qualifying law degree, he pursued his LLM from University of Bristol, UK. His final dissertation was titled, “Jurisdictional Sovereignty versus Contractual Supremacy, Mandatory Law Methods & Role of Mitsubishi Motors in framing the Mandatory Laws Debate in International Arbitration.” He was an active member of the Bristol LGBT Network.

Saksham’s area of research interest is International Commercial Arbitration. Besides ICA, he takes a keen interest in Insolvency Law, Company Law and other subjects of Commercial Law.

Outside of law, he enjoys reading Sanskrit, Hindi & English Literature and writing poetry. He also enjoys spiritual contemplation & meditation. He aspires to create an all-inclusive work environment for people irrespective of their biological sex, gender, sexuality, caste, creed and colour across the country.

  2. Participated in a round-table discussion, organised by Swarnim Start-up group as part of Runway to Vibrant Gujarat, on the topic – “How to save indigenous practices from Neo-colonialism” – January 4, 2022.
  3. Conducted a lecture/workshop on ‘Formulating Research Questions & the Head’ for the Jindal ELECC LLM Program on October 28, 2023 at WWF-India Office in Delhi.
  4. Participated in the Queer Research Methodology workshop organised by the Centre for Justice, Law & Society and Centre for Women’s Rights on 3rd November 2023, in collaboration with UC Santa Barbara, USA.

My primary area of research interest is Insolvency Law. I am also interested in International Commercial Arbitration, Human Rights in general and Queer Rights in particular.
