Biography

Saksham is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean (Research) at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS). He joined JGLS in January 2021 after completing his LLM in Banking & Finance Law from the University of Bristol, UK. Prior to that, Saksham graduated with distinction, and among top 5% of his batch, from Amity Law School, Noida. He was awarded with a certificate for “Performance in Academic Committees, Excellence in Internships & Workshops” for his outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements.

His research focuses on the evolving landscape of insolvency law, with particular emphasis on the legal frameworks of corporate finance and restructuring. Saksham is also deeply committed to research in Queer rights and has written on topics like Women in Arbitration.

In 2024, Saksham was a Visiting Scholar at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he conducted comparative research on global insolvency law. He holds the Foundation Certificate in International Insolvency Law from INSOL International and is an Academic Member of the organization. 

Beyond his academic pursuits, Saksham enjoys music, reading, and spiritual contemplation. He is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive work environment that transcends distinctions of biological sex, gender, sexuality, caste, creed, and color.
