Ruchi Moolchandani is a Faculty in the area of Finance at Jindal Global Law School. She has recently submitted her Ph.D. thesis at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Her thesis focuses on the determinants of corporate cash holdings in India. Before joining Ph.D., she worked in the investment management division of the audit department of Deloitte India- Offices of the US. She has earned Junior Research Fellowship from UGC. She holds a Master’s in Commerce (M.Com.) degree with a specialization in Finance from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has done a Bachelor’s in Commerce (B.Com.) from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi.

She is an active researcher and has publications in ABDC-listed journals, National and International Conferences. Her research interests include corporate cash holdings, family business, firm performance, corporate governance and board diversity. Her teachings interest includes Corporate Finance, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, and Financial Accounting.
