Prof. Thibault Weigelt is currently a Assistant Professor at the Health Law, Ethics and Technology (CHLET) at Jinda Global Law School in India. He graduated from Strasbourg Unversity with a LLB in French Law and was subsequently selected for the tri-national EUCOR Master programme in International and Comparative Law of the Universities of Strasbourg, Freiburg in Germany and Basel in Switzerland.
Passionate about international human rights, he joined the Human Rights Law Network (HRLN) in 2015 as a Research Volunteer, working on issues such as reproductive rights and gender.
His research focuses on health, public morality and gender. While working with HRLN, he authored a book summarizing the case law on the right to health of the Supreme Court of India. Bilingual in French and German, Mr. Weigelt also works as a legal translator and editor.
