In JGLS, Prof. Tanvee Nandan teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution and Company Law. She also offers electives on Reconfiguring Corporate Law: Emotion and Ethic in the Corporate Realm and Informal Justice Systems: An alternative perspective on access to justice. Her areas of research interest are corporate theory and jurisprudence, alternative dispute resolution and its impact on access to justice and feminist legal methods. She has completed her LLM from University College London in 2016, where the focus of her studies was on the interaction between gender and society, as seen through lenses of alternative dispute resolution, labour law and human rights. Her thesis during the LLM was on the impact of informality of labour on women in India and the possibilities of solidarity and unionisation. Prior to the LLM, Tanvee was an associate with Amarchand Mangaldas (now Shardul Amarchand) after graduating from National Law University, Delhi in 2014 after completing her undergraduate studies.
