Biography

Prof. Sayan Mukherjee received the degree BCL (Masters in Law) from the University of Oxford in 2014-15. He completed his B.A. LL.B. from the Gujarat National Law University. His research interest is in Public law and Legal Theory. Apart from academics Prof. Mukherjee is enthusiastic about politics, literature, music and theatre.

Core Courses for undergrads: Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Legal Methods, Law of Crimes, Interpretation of Statutes & Property Law.

Core Courses for postgrads: Comparative Public Law, Advanced Administrative law

Electives: Comparative Equality Laws, Theories of Legal Interpretation, Advanced Administrative law

Participated in and successfully completed National Workshop on Doctrinal Legal Research organized by National Law University, Delhi from August 8-10, 2016.

Presented paper titled Constitutional Morality: A case for legal enforcement of Constitutional Conventions in the First Round Table Colloquium organized by National Law University, Jodhpur on 1 April 2016.
