Prof. Mahak Jain graduated from Jindal Global Law School and thereafter pursued her Master of Laws degree specializing in International Human Rights Law from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2022. She was awarded the Dean’s Tuition Fellowship as well as received the Pro Bono Distinction for her valuable contributions of legal services to the Judge Rand Schrader Pro Bono Program at UCLA.
During the entirety of her master’s, she was a judicial extern to Judge Todd. W. Eddins of the Supreme Court of State of Hawai’i wherein she worked on matters related to constitutional and criminal law. She has researched and extensively worked for Amnesty International (USA), the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (UK), the International Criminal Court, The International Legal Foundation, and the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights.
She has contributed to the editorship of the Disability Law Journal at UCLA. Her research and writing interests are in international human rights, the international criminal legal system, gender rights, and labor law reforms.
