Prior of joining Jindal School of Law, Prof. Singh was working as a corporate lawyer with Fox Mandal & Co.. He was part of corporate law team (M&A and general corporate) and he was leading the labour and employment law practice in the firm, one of few such specialized practices in the country. He has extensive experience working with both Indian and foreign companies, foreign law firms and government authorities in corporate legal practices (which includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity on a full range of corporate transactions including cross border transactions) and labour law advisory.

Prof. Singh specializes in Corporate, Labour and Contractual Laws and teaches courses on corporate laws and labour & employment laws at Jindal School of Law. Prof. Paramjeet is a frequent lecturer/ speaker at seminars and conferences relating to corporate, employment and labour laws and often provides labour and employment law training / guest lecturers in corporate houses and educational institutions in India.
