Biography

Kriti is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary, bringing in over a decade of professional experience to the realm of international tax and transfer pricing. An alumni of King’s College London, she completed LL.M. in International Tax Law in 2015. With a background rooted in Big 4 consulting firms and Tier 1 tax law firms, she has established a reputation providing expert tax guidance. 

Kriti's passion for international tax is evident through her prolific writing and research contributions. Her research on international tax and transfer pricing have garnered acclaim, earning publication in various prestigious tax publications and forums. Her academic pursuits are exemplified by her co-authorship with Dr. Girish Ahuja on the book 'Principles of Taxation Law’ and her extensive contribution to the transfer pricing treatise titled ‘Transfer Pricing: The Indian Landscape’, authored by eminent Advocate Mr. Mukesh Butani. 

As an 'Expert Member' of the Committee on International Taxation, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, since 7 years, she has been making significant contributions to the field of international taxation through several noteworthy publications, including  ‘Guidance Note on Report under Section 92E of the Income Tax Act, 1961’, 'Taxation of Non-Residents,' 'Basics of International Taxation,' etc. 

Being an avid writer on international tax, her dissertation on ‘Transfer Pricing of Intangibles: An Evaluative Study under the OECD and the Indian Environment’ was awarded the ‘Best Dissertation in LL.M. Tax Laws’ by Dickson Poon School of Law and PwC Tax Litigation, London. Meritoriously sponsored by King’s College London, Kriti attended the International Tax Summer School 2015 at the University of Cambridge.

Her research papers on ‘Attribution of Profits to Permanent Establishments’ and ‘Digital India in the Digital International Tax Domain’ has been awarded by the Foundation for International Taxation, Mumbai for which she received ‘FIT Fellowship 2018’ and ‘FIT Fellowship 2019’.

Kriti is also recognized for her active participation as a speaker at tax events and global seminars including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Indo American Chamber of Commerce etc.
