Prof. Kanishk completed his LL.M. from King’s College London in 2019, specialising in competition law. He is an alumnus of Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, and has attained experience by interning with the competition teams of reputed law firms, as well as various Courts and Tribunals, including the Competition Commission of India.

His research and academic interests lie in the field of competition law, specifically, the cross-jurisdictional analysis of provisions dealing with cartel enforcement and abuse of dominance in the EU and India. At King’s, his dissertation was on the topic ‘Identifying and prohibiting Anti-competitive agreements under India’s Competition Law: Lessons from the EU’, which was led by Professor Alison Jones.

During his undergraduate studies, Kanishk also worked as Team Leader for the social sector of AIESEC in Pune for a period of 2 years. Besides law, he ardently pursues music during his leisure time.
