Prof. Ishupal Singh Kang is currently a doctoral candidate at Sciences Po Law School. His doctoral research broadly addresses the relationship between Intellectual Property Globalization and Access to Knowledge issues.

He holds an LLM in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance from International University College, Turin (Italy) and an LLM in International Commercial Law from Kent Law School, University of Kent (United Kingdom). During his postgraduate studies, he has been a recipient of KLS Taught Masters Overseas Scholarship (Kent Law School) and Pre-doctoral Program Mentor Fellowship (Sciences Po Law School)

After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Arts (BA LLB Hons.) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, India, he worked as an Associate at Clarus Law Associates. In addition to this, he has worked as a Teaching and Research Fellow (ATER) at Sciences Po Euro-Asian Undergraduate Program, Le Havre, France, where he taught seminar courses on Fundamental of European Union Institutions and Comparative Political Institutions. He has also been a tutorial lecturer and teaching assistant at Sciences Po campuses in Reims and Paris.
