Prof. Faiz Tajuddin

Prof. Faiz Tajuddin is currently Professor of Practice and Assistant Director of the Center for Corporate and Financial Law and Policy at Jindal Global Law School, India. He is also faculty director of the Moot Court Program at JGLS. Upon receiving a BA LLB (Hons.) degree from NLSIU, Faiz spent a year as law clerk to the Chief Justice of India at the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, before briefly working in the corporate law practice of AMSS, Mumbai, a law firm. He was then admitted to the LLM program at Columbia Law School, which he attended on an Aga Khan scholarship. Upon completing his studies at Columbia, Faiz spent a year in Manhattan as part of the corporate law practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, a leading full-service international law firm. He has taught on a visiting basis at NLSIU, Bangalore and NLU, New Delhi.
