Biography

Dr. Paarth is Associate Professor at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. He has published around 25 articles on data protection in SCOPUS indexed journals, including the International Data Privacy Law (Oxford University Press), International Review of Law, Computers and Technology (Taylor and Francis), Tilburg Law Review, European Data Protection Law Review, the Journal of Data Protection & Privacy, Jindal Global Law Review (Springer), International Journal of Law and Management (Emerald), Global Privacy Law Review (Wolters Kluwer), the Economic & Political Weekly and the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics. He has also co-authored a SCOPUS-indexed book with Springer titled, Introduction to Data Protection Law – Cases and Materials from the EU. He has been a Research Fellow with the Jean Monnet Chair in Multi-dimensional Approaches to the Understanding of the EU Data Protection Framework [2020-2023] at O.P. Jindal Global University and has also worked with the Centre for Research in Medicine, Law & Bioethics (CMLAB), Jindal Global Law School for the Thakur Foundation Grant [2023-25]. Dr. Paarth also actively reviews articles for SCOPUS indexed journals and has reviewed articles for more than 25 reputed journals. He has a keen interest in data protection and privacy law.
