Prof. Nidhi Sharma is an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School, O. P. Jindal Global University, where she teaches the core course on Constitutional Law. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Law (B.A.LL.B.) from Indraprastha University, Delhi, she has obtained her LL.M., with specialisation in Constitutional and Administrative Law, from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. In the year 2016, she was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship by UGC-India and has qualified UGC- NET in Law.
Before joining Jindal Global University in 2020, Nidhi had a teaching experience of more than three years as an Assistant Professor where she has been associated with, apart from the core courses on Constitutional Law, subjects like Service Law, Affirmative Action, Hindu Law and Mohammedan Law.
Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of Constitutional Law with personal laws, with particular focus on gender justice. She has also researched and written on the development of Digital Data Protection Laws in India and its analysis thereof on the touchstone of European Union General Data Protection Regime.
