About the Speaker

Prof. (Dr.) Vignesh Ram Guruswamy is a distinguished expert in Geopolitics and International Relations, specializing in the geopolitics of Southeast Asia. He holds a Ph.D. in the subject and possesses extensive interdisciplinary experience across research, government policy analysis, think tanks, academia, political consulting, and corporate global risk analysis.

He has advised corporations, international and domestic stakeholders, and threat intelligence teams, offering critical insights into the impact of geopolitics on business operations. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, MAHE, Manipal, and is a visiting faculty member at several universities.

Additionally, he teaches a module on Geopolitics and International Business at TAPMI Business School, Manipal. His professional journey includes leadership roles in corporate political risk divisions, where he spearheaded research, policy insights, and analyst training.
