Neha Singh is a learner, a researcher, an educator, a writer and a broadly intellectually curious person. She qualified UGC-NET (law) in December 2021-June 2022 (merged cycles). She graduated LLM with distinction from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2020. She completed her B.A.LLB in 2019 from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. She was awarded the Harding International Legal Scholarship for her LLM. Her specialised pathway is International law- crime, justice and human rights. She is licensed to practice law by the Bar Council of India. She is one of the Founding Partners of The IP Press- a legal website focused on intellectual property laws.

Neha’s interest in teaching was realised while helping her friends and classmates with last minute exam revision in law school. It soon developed into a passion as she went on to teach in numerous educational institutions helping hundreds of students find a place in the best law schools in India. Her academic and research interests include public international law, criminal law, human rights law and intellectual property laws. Her LLM dissertation on “Need for Criminal Liability for Environmental Wrongs by Corporations in International Criminal Law” written under the supervision of Dr. Robert Cryer was awarded distinction. Apart from academia, her other inclinations are towards cooking, reading and singing.
