Himakshi Alaria is an assistant lecturer of Law at Jindal Global Law School, India. She completed her B.A. LL.B. from University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan. During the course of her LLB, she did a specialized internship on laws of Geographical Indications; A social interface, from the Centre of Intellectual Property and Research Advocacy, from National Law School of India University.

After completing her undergraduate in law she has been practicing as a litigant (since 2020) before the Rajasthan High Court, session courts and tribunals in Rajasthan. She has argued a few matters of national importance during the pandemic about the insufficient allocation of food grains to the destitute under the National Food Security Act of India. She also highlighted the dysfunctional situations of local and district committees under the sexual harassment of women at workplace act, of 2013.

She has been accoladed with the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence, 2022-23 for pursuing higher studies at Queen Mary University of London. She joined JGLS, in October 2023, as an assistant lecturer, after completing her master’s in Criminal Justice.
