Gowri Murali Belwadi is a Postgraduate in Intellectual Property Law from the Queen Mary University of London. She completed her BA LLB (Hons) degree from School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru with First Class Honours. She was the Convenor of the Legal Aid and Awareness Committee at the School of Law, where she successfully organised multiple awareness camps in across Karnataka. The interaction with the rural community made her realise their potential and how that could be harnessed to their benefit through IPR. During her LLM, she did extensive research in the field of Copyright, Traditional Knowledge, Patents, Geographical Indications and Cultural Rights.

Apart from being a certified Peer Educator and an experienced Para Legal Volunteer, Gowri has worked as a Public Legal Educator at qLegal, a pro bono wing of The Queen Mary University of London. All these experiences have made her believe in her ability and passion to teach. She aims to learn more about what she loves and spread it among inquisitive individuals
