Faraz Arif graduated with a B.A. LL.B. from Jindal Global Law School as a Savitri Jindal Scholar and went on to read for his LL.M. in International Law and International Relations at the University of Bristol as a 4+1 Dual Degree Pathways candidate. His current research focuses intensively on the interaction between International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law in the context of armed conflicts.

He has previously contributed to research and publications on the death penalty, conflict management, euthanasia, and digital piracy while working with the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences. He has also worked with Prof. (Dr.) M.V. Rajeev Gowda, Member of Parliament, authoring Special Mentions on hate crimes addressed at the Rajya Sabha. While in the United Kingdom, he also gained litigation experience at a UK Legal 500 Tier 1 firm.
