Biography

Vaibhav joined JGU as a faculty in 2020. He obtained his B.Com degree from Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi; LL.B. degree from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, and Post Graduate Diploma in International Law and Diplomacy from the Indian Society of International Law. He was awarded Chevening Scholarship by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office to pursue LL.M. degree from Queen Mary University of London.

Vaibhav enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in September 2016. Thereafter, he worked at the Offices of Advocate General of Nagaland, and Additional Solicitor General of India (Supreme Court) as an Associate for over two years. His areas of research interest are criminal law, right to freedom of speech & expression, and privacy & surveillance laws.
