Swasti graduated from the BA LLB (Hons.) program at Jindal Global Law School in 2017. Driven by her passion for academia, she assisted multiple professors with teaching and research during law school. Thereafter she worked with the Additional Solicitor General, Rajasthan High Court followed by working at an economic policy think tank.
She is currently enrolled in the European Masters in Law and Economics program on the prestigious Holland Scholarship as well as Erasmus+ Grant. At the conclusion of this program, she will receive a joint LL.M. degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Hamburg University coupled with a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Vienna, Austria.
She has published with and attended conferences at several national/international fora of repute on topical issues of competition law – the 17th OECD Global Competition Summit, BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre, Gates Open Research, SSRN, OBLB, PRIME Finance Annual Conference – to name a few. She was also actively engaged in policy advocacy for promoting innovation and competition in the country through managing concentration risk in retail payments, deepening the digital payments ecosystem, reviewing existing competition legislation and deliberating on a data protection framework.
Her primary scholarly interest rests at the intersection of law, technology and policy (in general), and competition law and policy (in particular).
