Swasti Gupta is an Assistant Professor of law and Assistant Director at the Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies. Holding an LL.M from the University of Hamburg and Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with a Master of Arts degree from the University of Vienna, she brings a rich international perspective to her academic and professional endeavors.
Swasti’s academic journey began at Jindal Global Law School, where she earned her B.A. LLB (Hons.) on the Savitri Jindal Scholarship. She furthered her education through the renowned European Master’s in Law and Economics program, supported by the Holland Scholarship and Erasmus+ Grant.
She has published with and attended conferences at various national and international fora of repute on topical issues of law and technology such as the 17th OECD Global Competition Summit, BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre, Gates Open Research, Oxford Business Law Blog, PRIME Finance Annual Conference at the Hague.
Swasti’s scholarly interests lie at the nexus of law and technology, with a focus on intellectual property, privacy, data protection, and competition law. She has been involved in policy advocacy aimed at fostering innovation and competition, particularly within the realms of digital payments, competition legislation, and privacy frameworks in India.
