Biography

Sanyukta is working as a Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. She joined O.P. Jindal Global University in 2020 as a Teaching and Research for Intellectual Pursuit (TRIP) Fellow. She also worked as a Research Associate for the Center for Justicle, Law and Society and worked at the intersection of Abortion Laws and Privacy Law. 

Sanyukta graduated with an LL.M in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Gujrat National Law University in 2020. She also secured a first division in Post Graduate Diploma in Alternate Dispute Resolution from Indian Law Institute. She completed her under graduation and holds a degree in BA LLB (Hons.) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2018.

She has keen interest in Constitutional Law, Cyber Law and Data Privacy. Pursuant of her interest she wrote her LL.M dissertation titled “Remember to be Forgotten – Study of Right to be Forgotten in EU, USA and India”

Presented a paper titled “Sexual Harassment at Workplace-The Need for Gender Neutral Law”, at the National Seminar on combatting “Sexual Harassment at Workplace” organized by Internal Complaints Committee-ALSD at Amity Law School, Delhi (2018).

Won a consolation prize in the Surana and Surana – UILS International Essay Competition, titled “Liberalization of Trade in Agriculture and its Impact on Food Security: A Legal Analysis” organized by Centre for Trade Laws and Dispute Resolution University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh (2018).
