Biography

An enthusiast in the field of human rights, Sanya is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), India. Sanya holds a master's in international human Rights Law from the University of Leeds and a master’s in general laws (LL.M.) from the Pennsylvania State University, U.S.A. A recipient of the Best Law Student Award, Sanya was a part of the team that won the 26th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna. Her areas of interest are gender studies, feminist theories and intersectional issues. She is enrolled as a doctoral candidate at NLU, Delhi, researching the topic of rising digital antifeminism in the Global South. Sanya has also worked a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Women's Rights and Child Rights Clinic at the Jindal Global Law School.
