Biography

Prof. Kumari presently holds the position of Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. She earned her Master’s in Business Laws from National Law University, Delhi and has completed her B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi with specialization in Corporate Law.  

She has done extensive research in Understanding the growth and need of Mediation in India and other Jurisdictions as an effective tool for the reduction of issue pendency of cases in Indian courts. She has also worked as a research fellow on a research project by the Jharkhand Judicial Academy titled ‘Study on bottlenecks procedural laws affecting justice delivery system’. 

Her teaching interest lies in diverse fields of Civil & Commercial laws, Family Law and Alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. She has also published papers in areas like, ADR, Corporate Crimes, Insolvency and has actively participated in several conferences and presented papers in National and International Seminars.
