Biography

Vibhana is a faculty member at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS). She completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English at the University of Delhi, her LL.B. at Amity University, and earned her Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge.

During her LL.B., Vibhana received multiple awards including an academic merit scholarship, the university’s highest achievement award for overall excellence, and was named a finalist for the Bilimoria Global Award for Legal Excellence. Prior to her LL.M., she collaborated with the UNHCR on two global campaigns, and researched about enforcement mechanisms across multiple jurisdictions in order to devise bespoke campaign strategies for separate countries. She also ensured that the projects were in line with the internal and international data protection policies. 

At Cambridge, as a Project Researcher for the Cambridge Pro Bono Project, she continued to engage in international law by conducting research on legal systems applicable to climate protesters across the world. To complement her international public law experience with international private law, she studied International Commercial Litigation, Competition Law, International Intellectual Property Law, and International Human Rights during her LL.M.

At JGLS, her primary academic focus centers on corporate and cross-border commercial frameworks, and she teaches courses in Commercial Transactions, Company Law, and Competition Law.
