Biography

Prof. Santiago Weil Silva is an Assistant Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University and a research fellow at the Mahatma Gandhi Center for Peace Studies. He graduated as a lawyer from ICESI University in Cali, Colombia, and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from The Pennsylvania State University, with a double concentration in International, Foreign, and Comparative Law and in Litigation & Advocacy. Santiago has experience working as a litigator before the courts of Colombia in constitutional and civil rights cases. His research interests include human rights, international law, and comparative law.
