Sahith Mandapalli is an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), O.P. Jindal Global University, India. His research lies at the intersection of nationalism, religion, and global intellectual history. He has submitted his PhD at the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, where his doctoral work explores the emergence of multiple conceptions of nationalism in late-19th and early-20th century India, focusing on the intellectual influence of Giuseppe Mazzini on the Indian national movement.
He holds an MPhil and MA in Political Science from the University of Hyderabad. He was awarded the INLAKS–King’s India Institute Studentship in 2022 and the Charles Wallace Short-Term Visiting Grant in 2024. He has also been a visiting postgraduate student at the Faculty of History,
University of Cambridge.
Sahith has presented his research at institutions including the University of Oxford, King’s College London, and other international academic forums.
