Biography

Mukesh Arora is an Indian-qualified lawyer and Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School, where he teaches Company Law, Advanced Company Law, and Securities Regulation. He holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London.

Before joining academia, he worked as a corporate lawyer with law firms and also managed his own independent practice, advising startups, incubated ventures, e-commerce companies, and other businesses on a range of corporate law matters. His work includes advising under the Companies Act, 2013, board governance and director duties, structuring business transactions, and drafting key agreements such as shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, and business transfer agreements. He has also advised clients, including several startups, on investments and day-to-day legal and compliance matters, along with regulatory requirements such as ROC filings, FEMA/RBI guidelines, and SEBI regulations.
