Prof. Krishna Deo Singh completed his undergraduate degree in Law from National Law Institute University, Bhopal, and his post graduate degree from National University of Singapore. His specialization area is Intellectual Property and Technology Law.
His research interests are focused on evolution of legal theory in the light of latest advancements in technology, especially artificial intelligence and its impacts on law, society and human psychology. In the past, he has taught at UPES School of law where he focused on Law and Technology subjects. He is an avid reader and writer, and has published in various journals and blogs.
He was a member of the Jean Monnet Chair at the OP Jindal Global University between 2020-2023. Served as the lead member of a project for developing ‘Certificate Programme on Technology Management’ commissioned by Consultancy Development Center, an autonomous Institution of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. Co-authored completed and published research on “Fuel blending in India: Learnings and way forward” by PLR Chambers in collaboration with School of Law, UPES. Completed Summer School on AI and Law at European University Institute, Florence, Italy, in July 2023 and successfully completed ‘HKU_09x: FinTech Ethics and Risks’ course of study offered by HKUx, an online learning initiative of The University of Hong Kong.
