Biography

Kanishka Sewak is an Associate Professor at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. His teaching and research interests lie primarily in taxation, international tax law, international trade, and white-collar crimes.

At Jindal Global Law School, he teaches courses in Direct and Indirect Taxation, White Collar Crimes, and Income Tax Litigation. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Turin, Italy, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. He has qualified the University Grants Commission's National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professorship.

His academic interests encompass international taxation, tax theory, international trade, and white-collar crimes. His research engages with contemporary developments in taxation, particularly the challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy, emerging financial technologies, and the regulation of cross-border economic activity. He has presented and published work in these areas and has served as a coach for the IBFD Global Tax Treaty Commentary Competition.
