Biography

Eileen completed her BA with joint honours in Law and History at the University of Kent from 2015 to 2018, and went on to earn an MA in Human Rights Law from 2018 to 2019 at the SOAS, University of London, where her thesis focused on reproductive rights and gender justice. She has further professional training in international project development, having completed the International Master’s in European Project Planning and Management from Pixel Firenze.

Previously, she served as Co-Director of the Politics4Her Europe Hub, where she lead research initiatives on women’s political participation and gender justice across Europe. She also served as Ambassador Programme Coordinator for the #EndGenderApartheid Campaign, leading advocacy for the recognition of gender apartheid as a crime against humanity under international law. She has collaborated on research projects with organisations including International Bridges to Justice, the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, and REDU.

Her research interests lie in intersectional feminist methodology and theory, gender justice and reproductive rights, human rights law and policy analysis, and international law, with particular attention to how legal frameworks shape — and are shaped by — structural inequalities.
