Biography

Dr. Rehnamol P R is Associate Professor at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She earned her M.A. in International Relations and Politics and her B.A. in Political Science from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Before joining Jindal Global Law School, she served as Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Central University of Allahabad. Previously, she also taught at various colleges of University of Delhi, including Janki Devi Memorial College, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, and Kamala Nehru College. Her Ph.D. research was on gender and nationalism in the context of Tibetans in exile in India. For her M.Phil. degree, she researched on political participation and representation of women in South Asia with special reference to Nepal.

Dr. Rehnamol's research interests include Feminist Political Theory, Gender and Politics, South Asian Politics, and the Theory of International Relations. She has written extensively on caste, gender, and politics in leading national newspapers such as The Indian Express, The Hindu, The Economic Times, and Deccan Herald. She has also contributed articles to various news platforms, including News18. Additionally, she is associated with academic publishers such as Sage and Taylor & Francis as a reviewer. Dr. Rehnamol recently presented a paper at the Harvard Divinity School, Harvard University, and at the International Political Science Association conference in Lisbon. She is also a recipient of International Political Science Association Travel grant 2025. She continues to contribute to academia and public discourse through her research, teaching, and publications.
