Biography

Prof. Amit Kumar has joined Jindal Global Law School in 2025 as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean (Academics) for the B.Com. LL.B (Hons.) Programme.

His research lies at the intersection of law, economics, and public policy. His work examines how legal institutions shape economic behaviour and how regulatory frameworks respond to questions of efficiency, distribution, and institutional design.

Prior to entering academia, he served as a Legal Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer at REC Limited. The on field exposure of Project Financing and Corporate Insolvency continues to inform his engagement with questions of Corporate laws and regulation.
