Biography

Pragya Rakshita is an Assistant Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. She holds LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex and B.A. LL.B. from the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi. She was awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship by the University of Essex and a Gold Medal by NUSRL for her academic performance. She is the author of “Human Rights: Footprints in Law” (Eliva Press 2022). She has published articles in SCOPUS indexed and other journals, magazines and online platforms, like “Tribal women of India: International and national safeguards– a comparative study” published in Commonwealth Law Bulletin [47(1), 2021] and “Laws and policies for marine environmental protection: a comparative analysis” published in Environmental Law and Management [32(2), 2020]. Her main area of interest is international human rights law.
