Biography

Nishtha completed her B.A. LLB (Hons.) from Panjab University in 2019. In 2020, she earned her LLM degree with specialisation in Intellectual Property Rights from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. Her dissertation was titled ‘The global menace of counterfeiting: A critical study of trademark regime in India to combat counterfeiting’.

She has qualified UGC NET for Assistant Professor in December 2019. Prior to joining JGLS as an Assistant Lecturer, she was working in JGLS as a Research Fellow (TRIP Fellow) which set a strong foundation for her journey in academia.
