Biography

Niharika graduated with B.A. LL.B. from Jindal Global Law School. During her time at JGLS, she was the recipient of the Dean’s List Award for outstanding academic performance and excellence in multiple academic years. She was also awarded the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship during her bachelor’s degree. At JGLS, she worked on multiple research projects, including the Prison Reforms and Advocacy Project with the Legal Aid Clinic. Her areas of interest include criminal law, constitutional law, international law, and jurisprudence.

During her LL.M., she researched extensively on International Law and its narrative of development. She analysed this theme in the context of the Indian state’s policies on urban development and received a first class honours for her work.
