Biography

Nayanika holds a master’s in law (LLM) degree from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and a  B.A. LL.B. degree (with a first division) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. She has worked for half a decade as a corporate lawyer and has a vast array of experience in dealing with nuances pertaining to corporate and commercial laws. She has worked on both the transaction and advisory side and has worked on myriad laws including – company law, intellectual property laws, extant foreign exchange regulations, foreign contribution laws, contract laws and also employment laws.

Her master’s degree allowed her to delve deeper into the field of intellectual property, media and technology laws and form a theoretical foreground in the said area. Her research interests lie in the intersection of intellectual property and generative AI especially the intersection of copyright law and Gen AI.
