Anjali is an Indian Qualified lawyer. She graduated from Jindal Global Law School with an I-Class Honours in 2017. During her undergraduate, she has worked as a member of student academic counsel, research assistant for various centres, and teaching assistant for constitutional law and taxation. She went on working as a Law Extern to Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald in the US State Supreme Court (Hawaii). Pursuant to that, she joined the chambers of Ms. Suman Bagga, a civil lawyer practicing in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India. She worked as a Law Researcher to Hon’ble Mr. Justice G.S. Sistani, Former Judge of Delhi High Court.

During her clerkship, she found her passion in the field of Dispute Resolution and went on to pursue a super-specialization in International Commercial Arbitration Law at Stockholm University (SU). During her masters, she went for various Arbitration events throughout Europe including at Arbitral Institute of the SCC, and also participated in mock arbitration(s) at law firms like Vinge (Stockholm) and Konard Partners (Warsaw). At SU, she worked as a Student Ambassador with the Stockholm Student Union for the year 2019-2020.

Before joining JGLS as a Lecturer, she has been advising domestic and international clients regarding commercial and civil disputes. She has worked as an Arbitral Secretary to Hon’ble Mr. Justice GP Mittal, Former Judge of Delhi High Court, and assisted him on various commercial matters ranging between the concession, taxation, marine, construction, corporate, and technology.

Anjali has also worked with the Kluwer Arbitration, she is on the Editorial Board of Legal Maxim and the Review Board of Syin & Sern. She has published on Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, Reproductive Rights, and Jurisprudence in various national and international journals. She also does pro-bono work, has provided free legal assistance to the underprivileged community. She is an advocate for child care and education and has supported various projects of TFI, UNICEF (India), etc.

Her research interest is centered around International Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, Contractual Law, and Domestic Arbitration.

In her free time, she loves to backpack, learn different languages, and curate belly dance pieces.
