Biography

Dr. Manika Bora is an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School. She is a social scientist working at the intersection of feminist economics, educational inequality, and agrarian political economy. Her research employs quantitative and mixed methods to examine questions related to educational access and intra-household dynamics.
Trained as an economist, she completed her doctoral research on intergenerational educational mobility and inter-group inequality, based on a field study conducted in Bihar. Prior to joining O.P. Jindal Global University, she worked in diverse capacities, including teaching at the University of Delhi, and in research and editorial roles at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and NCERT.
