Biography

Kanika Arora is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal Global Law School. She also works with the Office of the Vice Dean for Clinical Legal Education as an Assistant Dean. She holds an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge, an LL.B. from the University of Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai. She completed her LLM with a focus on Human Rights as a Becker Law Scholar at Lucy Cavendish College. Her interests lie in the fields of gender, family, and health. She has previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Research and Policy, and as a legal consultant with Katha, a non-governmental publishing house, where she published simplified legal resources to create awareness among women and children in the urban slum clusters of New Delhi. Before joining the legal field, she worked as a risk analyst with KPMG India, providing auditing services in the Indian real estate industry.
